Anne Penn is wanted as a witness or person of interest in ongoing Carbon Laws–related investigation. The investigation concerns the destruction of the Brier Valley Wildlife Refuge by a human-caused fire and the possible extinction of an endangered species. Penn is known to have a strong interest and aptitude with animals and wildlife care. Public reporting has associated the subject with efforts connected to the fire and subsequent species recovery activities.
